The new graphics card is based on standard PCI Express X 16 lanes interface that can be plugged into any existing PC platform with PCI Express slot to extend the display capability, beyond what is required by full HD 1080p LCD panel at 1920 X 1080 resolutions. Backed up with an impressive 1GB RAM memory, they are capable of driving three to four DisplayPort monitors with each of them able to scale up to maximum of 2560 X 1600 resolutions per display port. Good thing is, there are claimed to be thermally efficient that can eliminate the use of active fan for noise-free and fan-less applications.
No pricing information yet, these graphics cards will be bundled with its own proprietary PowerDesk software for simplified setup and configuration and all will be available by Q3 of 2009.
