Motorola Karma QA1 Messaging And Social Networking Phone To Hit AT&T Stores

AT&T and Motorola have announced a new curvy and compact messaging mobile device, named as Motorola Karma QA1, which features 2.5-inch QVGA display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, 2MP camera, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, GPS, CrystalTalk technology, stereo Bluetooth with A2DP, microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB, text messaging as well as instant messaging, aiming to enhance your social networking and messaging experiences.



“Unique visitors to Facebook from AT&T’s MEdia Net portal grew over 100% in 2008,” commented Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Karma’s one-click access to Facebook and MySpace will resonate with customers who are committed to keeping up with social networking sites on the go.”

According to Motorola, Karma QA1 offers users an one-click access to Facebook and MySpace directly from its home screen, seems perfect for social networking addicts.

“Today’s savvy mobile phone users are looking for more from their devices than just an easy way to text – they want to update their social networking status, instant message multiple friends, make calls and of course, text, all while on the go,” said Jeff Miller, vice president for Motorola Mobile Devices. “Motorola Karma gives consumers ultimate control over their conversations, no matter how they decide to stay in touch.”

The new Motorola Karma QA1 quick messaging and social networking phone which measures 64 x 88 x 17.9 mm and weights 141g is scheduled to hit AT&T stores starting June 28 for around $80, after mail-in rebate and a two-year service contract.
