Toshiba Satellite A500 With Powerful Multimedia Performance

Toshiba has announced its new Satellite series notebook – Toshiba Satellite A500, which designed for the user that requires powerful multimedia performance. The notebook comes with a 16-inch HD Toshiba TruBrite 16:9 display with resolution of 1366 768 pixels, Harmon Kardon stereo speakers which make for an impressive audio experience, tuner for analogue and digital DVB-T program, HDMI ports with REGZA LINK tech, and advanced audio and video capabilities. In addition, the Satellite A500 also comes with high capacity hard disk drives providing generous amounts of space for a multimedia content libraries, an option of Intel Core 2 DUO or AMD Turion X2 Ultra processor, multi-touch track-pads, and enhanced ‘Eco Utility’ power management tools. Furthermore, the new Satellite A500 is equipped with an additional combo eSATA / USB port which support Sleep-and-Charge function and offers a highly-attractive external design by Precious Black LCD which enriched by the new Toshiba Fusion finish based on IMR (In-Mold Rolling) technology.

The Toshiba Satellite A500 has available in two version: standard silver pane or premium chrome-trim. The first version(standard silver pane) has an LCD screen with hinges and silver-colored edges. On the other hand, the second version(premium chrome-trim) comes with a display (Screen Flush) with a mask glass, while the edge and the hinges are chrome plated for show more elegant style.

Toshiba Satellite A500 will be available in Europe in July 2009 from starting price of €699 ($975) through Toshiba website or leading retailer.
